One of the many institutions that have been formed under the direct guidance of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, among others, is one of the IRDPs and Bangladesh Rural Development Board (BRDB). IRDP actively plays an active role in resolving these three problems of the country's food security, population problems and lack of personal worship in the war-torn country of liberation war.With the goal of organizing and training the people of rural areas, expansion of modern agricultural practices, improved agricultural management, marketing of agricultural products, expansion of modern irrigation system, increasing agricultural production, ensuring food security and creating employment opportunities in rural areas, renowned social scientist Dr. Recognizing the contribution of IRDP to the five-year plan taken by the government of Bangladesh's 'Comilla Model' nation, invented by Akhtar Hamid Khan, or the 'double-level co-operative system' in rural development and poverty eradication, which includes the Integrated Rural Development Program ( IRDP) was launched experimentally.The Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman took this step as a tool for rural development in the context of the success of the Integrated Rural Development Program (IRDP) or "two-level cooperative system" and by its directive, the coordinated rural development in 1972 was aimed at smiling at the face of poor people of rural areas. During this time, the decision of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman was adopted by the IRDP to provide multi dimensional and multi sectoral strategies for rural development. As a result, its activities in newly independent Bangladesh, especially in the formation of rural organizations, development of leadership, modernization of agriculture,He has achieved tremendous success in writing the basis of micro-credit by increasing capital, poverty alleviation, empowerment of women, and forming capital through depositing of personal savings. The co-operative movement of Dajjati's father Shahadat was reduced. As a result, along with the BRDB Cooperative Association, there is a new dimension in rural development and poverty alleviation with the formation of informal groups at the village level. Small and marginal farmers of the village,BRDB is working relentlessly in rural development, poverty alleviation and empowerment of women through the creation of self-employment, by providing necessary services and materials by organizing unemployed men and women groups in cooperative societies and informal groups. BRDB is performing its poverty alleviation well through 11 upazila offices here. There are currently 13 projects / programs of BRDB in Bogura  district.
